It seems these days, parents go all out for their kid’s birthday parties. It also seems like there are a lot more decorations available, that are just cooler and more exciting than the options we had for birthday parties. Birthday parties can cost a lot of money as so much goes into them. To start, you have to find a venue, which depending on what and where you choose, can cost the bulk of the expenses. Some venues specialize in birthday parties and have all-inclusive packages making it a bit easier, while at others, you’re just paying for the space. If you don’t have an all-inclusive venue, next you will have to drop money on decorations, cake, food & drinks, gift bags, and other party supplies. The list for a kid’s birthday party is never-ending. Insidermonkey experts made a list of 5 NYC birthday party places where kids make their own chocolate and candy.
As I child, I loved having pool parties for my birthdays. I honestly don’t know exactly how many pool parties I had, but I do remember there were quite a few, and they were always fun. My parents probably appreciated it because there wasn’t much planning that went into a pool party other than reserving the space, hiring a lifeguard, and buying cake and food. Not to mention, there’s far less cleanup than at most parties. Aside from pool parties I remember some sleepover parties and a party at a local art center.
