Ever wondered if your smartphone wasn't getting as much signal strength as other brands and models? Wonder no more, as a study conducted by professor Gert Frølund Pedersen of Aalborg University in Denmark tested the signal strength of a bunch of different smartphones. For the study, Pedersen tested the signal strength of 26 smartphones during phone calls while the phones were held against the left and right ears with both left and right hands. The cell signal can also be affected by the software of the phone and the number of apps installed. If your operating system is outdated or you have a bunch of unnecessary applications, you are in for a bad reception.
