The topic of LGBT rights and equality is not going away anytime soon. If you live in a developed country then you should consider yourself lucky because you have almost the same amount of rights and freedom as straight people. Of course there is so much more to work on; the social stigma, deep-rooted hate, and intolerance of some people is ridiculous and saddening. Yet at least gay people can live in the country and proclaim their gayness without running the risk of being killed or put into jail.
