Have you ever wished to be one of those people from the movies, that only had shirts on themselves, some drink in one hand, and a paintbrush in another, looking through the window in their own atelier, while painting their masterpieces? I know that I could never inherit Michelangelo or Picasso. I am not that talented, nor focused enough to lock myself in a room and don’t go out until all that I want is printed on the canvas. I would most probably lose the track after only a few hours and leave it like that. The problem would appear when I see it again because I would want to get it done, but I would have no idea how to do it or all of that elan would most likely just vanish and I would destroy it. But, the truth is that any kind of art really keeps me down. No matter how frustrated I am, as soon as I grab my pen, brush, and even a scalpel, I start feeling more peacefully.
